What the role is
We are looking for a self-motivated, resourceful and result-oriented team player, who is tenacious in driving results. As part of the HR Talent, Learning and Development team, you will be responsible for URA’s green harvesting, engagement and learning and development initiatives.
What you will be working on
• Lead and operationalise URA’s internship programme, including but not limited to internship shortlisting, interview arrangement, onboarding, offboarding, planning of engagement initiatives with interns and regular review of the internship programme for relevance and effectiveness.
• Develop and implement engagement sessions to enhance interns’ experience with URA.
• Partner institutions and schools to provide internship opportunities to students, to support URA’s mission.
• Support the planning and organisations of scholarship events to secure talent and build a strong talent pipeline for URA.
• Support scholarship activities including but not limited to administrative and procurement matters such as processing of invoices, payments to scholars for allowances and claims, support for flight arrangement for overseas studies.
• There will also be opportunities to be involved in other strategic HR projects across functional lines for greater exposure, such as planning of change management in support of organisational transformation.
What we are looking for
• A degree in a relevant discipline with at least 2-3 years of experience in HR, preferably with exposure to green harvesting and recruitment.
• Possess strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Able to think critically, multitask and manage tight timelines under pressure.
• Proactive problem-solving approach.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Prior experience in Workday will be an advantage.
