Singapore Customs is a regulatory agency under the Ministry of Finance, with the mission of protecting revenue and facilitating trade for a thriving Singapore economy.
TradeNet, a core system under Singapore Customs, handles over 9 million permit applications annually and serves as the digital backbone of Singapore’s trade ecosystem. It integrates import, export and transhipment documentation processing procedures and enables the trade and logistics community to fulfil their trade formalities.Through TradeNet, Singapore Customs and other Competent Authorities monitor the movement of goods and enforce health, safety and other regulatory requirements.
To future-proof its core trade infrastructure, Singapore Customs has embarked on a strategic journey to modernize TradeNet, aiming to enhance security, user experience, and regulatory alignment.
You are expected to:
Partner closely with the Lead Product Manager on the overall project planning and delivery.
Lead a product squad by defining the squad roadmap, setting OKRs, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring delivery of high-quality outcomes.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. business and compliance teams) and external vendors to ensure smooth planning, alignment, and systems integration.
Shape and improve the product development process by identifying gaps, driving best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Be ultimately accountable for delivering meaningful outcomes and public value through the squad's work.
