Assistant Director (Sponsorship & Partnership), ACD

What the role is

• To enable Community Arts & Culture as a means of building and bridging communities, and empowering a volunteer-driven arts movement.

• This person is responsible in developing strategic plan in marketing, outreach and development of partners and sponsors, build meaningful relationships with partners and sponsors, partnering with other PA Divisions and external groups to enhance and promote collaborative efforts to benefit the community and to present a high quality and refreshing programmes including Chingay and PAssionArts events.

What you will be working on

This person will be involved in the following key roles:

Partnership Development

  • Plan, develop and build strategic collaborations with partners as well as to identify and develop new partners.
  • Establish a good network of partners and stakeholders to support and identify new areas of growth to allow PAssionArts and Chingay to widen outreach and enhance engagement.
  • Plan and work with the team of Relationship Managers in engaging partners at PA and ACD’s platforms, identifying opinion leaders and engaging them for communications and feedback gathering.
  • Perform the role of relationship manager in engaging partners at PA and ACD’s platforms, identify opinion leaders and engage them for communications and feedback gathering.
  • Track, monitor and review the engagement of partners at PA and ACD’s engagement platforms.

Marketing and Sponsorship

  • Research, plan and develop marketing and sponsorship strategies to widen the sponsorship pool for division’s programmes including Chingay and PAssionArts.
  • Develop marketing and sponsorship plans and materials to facilitate outreach and engagement of sponsors and partners to support and enable community programmes.

Community Engagement

  • Lead community engagement initiatives/programmes to enable active residents’ participation and co-creation process, which will be presented at Chingay and/or suitable PassionArts platforms.
  • Build strategic partnership with internal and external partners to enhance the programming of these initiatives/programmes to achieve social outcomes.
  • Evaluate and make recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of the initiatives/ programmes.
  • Plan, manage and implement the VIP Hospitality Plan for key ACD events such as Chingay e.g. invitation of guests, distribution of tickets and onsite hospitality arrangements.
  • Plan, manage and implement an efficient ticketing system; from the sales, allocation, disbursement, and inventory tracking of the sales of tickets for key ACD events such as Chingay.
  • Anticipate issues and problems and guide team (s) to overcome obstacles.

What we are looking for

Other Duties

  • Guide junior officers in ACD to achieve the overall programme and community outcomes.
  • Provide guidance to junior officers in procurement and administrative matters to ensure adherence to prevailing Financial and Procurement guidelines.
  • Perform secretarial and other duties as assigned by the senior officers of ACD.
