What the role is
The Social Service Systems Office (S3O) under the Operations Planning Division aims to better support vulnerable families and individuals with complex needs and ensures that they can access assistance in a timely and integrated manner. S3O oversees the development of case coordination approaches to address complex needs and works with partners to overcome system-level barriers
What you will be working on
You will be part of the S3O team that works with partners, such as policy agencies and Social Service Offices (SSOs), to:
(i) Identify system-level gaps and issues encountered by those with complex needs, e.g. cases with issues that cut across agencies, not within conventional policy boundaries;
(ii) Resolve systems issues, such that complex cases are resolved; and
(iii) Strengthen the comprehensiveness of case data collected.
Responsibilities:
You will be expected to:
(i) Analyse quantitative and qualitative information on complex cases and broader trends, to derive insights;
(ii) Work with agencies to review policies and processes to resolve the system issues; and
(iii) Engage agencies to tighten the case data collection processes.
What we are looking for
Functional/Technical competencies:
(i) At least 4 years of policy/operations-policy work experience;
(ii) Having experience in the social sector and data work are advantages; and
(iii) Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
