What the role is
What you will be working on
In addition to your teaching duties, you will carry out industry or consultancy projects to help you remain relevant in your profession and to evolving changes in industry, and maintain strong linkages with industry and schools. You will also have the opportunity to have industry attachments or experience on a regular basis to update your skills, knowledge and practices of your profession.
What we are looking for
You should have working knowledge of and experience with some of the following:
coding in multiple programming languages, including C++, C#, Python, Java, JavaScript, .NET, SQL Server, Ruby, HTML, etc;
general knowledge of computer science and software development concepts;
collect, analyze and interpret large amounts of data using advanced analytics technologies, such as machine learning (ML), AI and predictive modelling;
experience working with algorithms;
knowledge of object-oriented and functional design principles;
familiarity with DevOps tools, such as integration servers, testing tools, containers, monitoring and analytics programs, and network protocols;
strong automation skills with both manual and program testing;
working knowledge of databases and SQL;
IoT/IIoT system testing and deployment;
5G System Integration in design, development, and test of 5G prototype systems;
collaborate with cross-functional teams on the development and deployment of autonomous mobile robots for various industrial applications, such as material handling, inventory management, and logistics.
