What the role is
What you will be working on
The Temporary Staff will support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of inclusive sport programmes under the SportCares Division. This role involves working closely with community partners, service providers, and stakeholders within the disability and special needs (DSN) sector. The primary objective is to increase access and participation in sport among persons with disabilities/special needs (PWDs/PSNs), while fostering inclusion, care, and community integration through shared sporting experiences.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Programme Design and Development – Play Ability
• Conduct needs assessments to identify interest areas and ability levels of PWDs/PSNs to inform sport programme design.
• Curate and adapt sport programmes to meet the varied needs of participants, ensuring alignment with inclusive design principles and safety considerations.
• Incorporate recommendations from the Disability Sport Master Plan (DSMP) and contribute to its implementation.
2. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Impact Reporting
• Develop, track, and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluation metrics to measure programme effectiveness and participant outcomes.
• Support the preparation of reports, case studies, and data dashboards to communicate programme impact and identify areas for improvement.
3. Stakeholder, Coach, and Instructor Management
• Recruit, onboard, and manage coaches and instructors, ensuring proper deployment, scheduling, and timely processing of payments.
• Facilitate training and development opportunities for coaches to enhance competencies in working with PWDs/PSNs.
• Provide ongoing support and maintain positive engagement with programme deliverers to ensure delivery quality and alignment with SportCares values.
4. Programme Operations and Administration
• Coordinate logistics including booking of sport facilities, managing participant registration processes, and collecting post-programme feedback.
• Serve as a point of contact for participants, caregivers, and parents – addressing queries, supporting engagement, and building trust with the community.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, coach hours, participant information, and feedback for reporting and audit purposes.

Job Requirements:
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active.
In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following:
• Tertiary qualifications in Sport Management, Social Work, Special Education, Psychology or related fields preferred.
• Experience working with or supporting individuals with disabilities/special needs is highly valued.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with sensitivity and empathy in community-facing roles.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple programme components concurrently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic data management tools (e.g., Excel, Forms).
• Passionate about inclusive sport and community development.
