What the role is

The AD/SAD, Care Policy will work under the oversight of Deputy Director (Medical Policy) to lead the branch’s policy officers and the ACE Nursing Team and work closely with stakeholders such as Ministry of Health, Anchor Operators of the primary healthcare system for MWs and community partners to formulate and implement care policies for safeguarding and betterment of MWs’ health.

What you will be working on

Key responsibilities: • You will leads the development and implementation of preventive healthcare policies and programmes for migrant workers (MWs), with a focus on mental health, dental care, musculoskeletal and chronic disease management. The position involves identifying health gaps and designing comprehensive care ecosystems to enhance health awareness and accessibility of healthcare services. • Working closely with key stakeholders including the Ministry of Health, Anchor Operators, and community partners, the role drives the co-creation of innovative healthcare solutions through evidence-based policy design and implementation. The incumbent will establish and maintain strong partnerships to ensure effective delivery of healthcare initiatives. • A critical aspect of this role involves leading the monitoring and surveillance of health data through MW surveys, OC KPIs, and self-harm incident tracking. This includes analysing health-related data to improve programme effectiveness and identifying new technologies to enhance early risk detection and health-seeking behaviours among MWs. • The position oversees the development of professional standards and competencies for the ACE Nursing Team (ANT), collaborating with medical doctors to enhance capabilities in health education, clinical case management, and care coordination for migrant workers with various healthcare needs.

What we are looking for

• Tertiary education in nursing, pharmacy, allied health or in any other healthcare-related fields. • Proven track record in healthcare policy design and project management. • Experience in working with multiple stakeholders across government ministries and with external stakeholders like NGOs.
