The Senior Executive (Financial Aid Operations) will play a key role in supporting the administration, communication and reporting functions of financial aid schemes. This role ensures smooth and timely execution of financial assistance application cycles, temporary staffing coordination and digitalisation initiatives. The appointee will also support donor engagement and reporting efforts to maintain trust and accountability with stakeholders.

What you will be working on

Responsibilities:

Financial Aid Operations & Application Management

  • Coordinate the annual publicity and application cycles for bursary awards.
  • Support the processing and verification of bursary applications, including liaising with temporary staff and students.
  • Assist with student outreach efforts to raise awareness of financial assistance schemes.

Temporary Staff Coordination

  • Provide administrative support for the recruitment process, including outreach and interview scheduling.
  • Assist in onboarding, leave tracking and payroll submissions for temporary staff under guidance.

Process Digitalisation & System Support

  • Work with internal IT teams and stakeholders to facilitate the digital submission and verification of documents in SAS2.
  • Support system testing by raising basic requests and provide feedback where necessary.
  • Review and update relevant financial aid content on the SP website to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

Donor Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Prepare monthly statistics and assist in data collation for internal reports, audits and donor reporting.
  • Send notification emails to bursary recipients and donors.
  • Assist in the planning and logistics of donor-related events and student engagement sessions.

What we are looking for

Key Requirements

  • A diploma or degree in business administration, social sciences, education or a related field
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant work experience in student services, financial assistance, or administrative roles
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage timelines and coordinate multiple tasks
  • Meticulous with attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good interpersonal and written communication skills
  • A team player who is adaptable and proactive in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work with sensitivity and discretion, especially in handling confidential student information.

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
