What the role is

This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, Business Sustainability in the School of Business & Accountancy.

What you will be working on

As a Lecturer, you will:

Develop and deliver curriculum (including online courses) and assessments for full-time and part-time courses for students and adult learners.
Supervise student projects and internships with industry partners.
Counsel and mentor students to support their learning and personal development, provide education and career guidance, and coach them for competitions.
Undertake academic-related administration and committee work, support outreach activities and study trips, and ad-hoc projects that support the school’s mission.
Plan, lead, manage and develop industry projects.

What we are looking for

At least 3 years’ relevant industry experience. Prior teaching experience will be an advantage.
Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks or global benchmarks (e.g. GRI, ISSB, SDGs, circular economy principles).
Familiarity with emerging technologies (e.g., AI, data analytics) that support sustainability goals will be an advantage.
A nurturing mindset with a passion for working with young adults and mature learners.
Ability to use innovative teaching and learning strategies and a passion for working with and motivating learners.
Competent to plan, develop and manage collaborative initiatives with industry partners.
Ability to lead, manage and support multiple projects independently and in a team setting.
