What the role is

Join the National AI Group (NAIG) in shaping the responsible development and deployment of AI across Singapore's public sector. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to establishing governance frameworks and policies that ensure the safe and ethical use of AI in government services.

What you will be working on

You'll work alongside policy makers and technical experts to develop practical guidelines and tools that help public officers leverage AI responsibly while managing associated risks.

What we are looking for

(Please indicate your period of availability in your resume.) - Currently pursuing Computer Science, Public Policy, Law, or related fields - Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and their applications - Strong analytical and research skills - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, particularly in explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences - Ability to think critically about ethical implications of technology - Good project management and organisational skills - Interest in public sector technology policy and governance - Familiarity with policy writing and analysis is a plus Please note that only shortlisted candidates would be notified.
