As an Executive Engineer / Engineer (Geology) in the Water Systems Department, Planning & Capability Development Division, you will be part of a team to lead the development of engineering models to plan and guide the design and construction of systems to enhance integrated water resource management and undertake related R&D projects.

What the role is
What you will be working on
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following areas:
• Manage project cycle that will include project planning, contract administration (including tender calling and awarding) and supervision
• Design and implement field geological investigations
• Perform analysis and interpretation of geological and geophysical data, prepare reports and present recommendations to management.
• Maintain and upkeep geological datasets and model for data visualisation and interpretation, and support hydrological model development
• Collaborate with internal divisions within PUB, external government agencies, academia, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful execution of project.
• Any other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for
• Degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Civil / Environmental Engineering, or related fields
• Engineering or related fields
• Possess strong analytical thinking, planning and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, GIS applications and/ or data visualisation tools such as Leapfrog.
• Good writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and a good team player
• Self-motivated, adaptable and possess strong sense of responsibility
