As an Events Manager, you will play a crucial role in orchestrating a diverse range of engagement activities, from physical roadshows to online webinars and media features. You will be responsible for bringing anti-scam messages to the community through innovative and effective channels, ensuring maximum reach and impact.
You will manage the complete lifecycle of events, working closely with stakeholders to deliver successful programmes across multiple platforms. Your role involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners, managing project timelines and resources, and ensuring smooth execution of both physical and digital events. Beyond event management, you will contribute to community partnerships, handle media relations, and drive public education initiatives to combat scams effectively. Your expertise in selecting appropriate media channels and creating compelling publicity materials will be essential in amplifying our anti-scam message across different platforms and reaching diverse audience segments.

What you will be working on
The candidate will support SPEO in these primary duties:
The candidate will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing events and projects. Working closely with project teams, clients, vendors, and stakeholders, to ensure successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
Good to have
• Relevant experience in planning and governance.
• Self-directed with strong initiative and ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated experience in managing senior-level relationships.
• Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Relevant skillsets/experiences in video and infographic production, such as use of the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva Design Suite or other relevant design software
• Good understanding of social media platforms and basic understanding of marketing strategies such as trend jacking.

• Relevant background with a good command of written and spoken English, while fluency in other official languages would be a bonus
