What you will be working on

As a Senior / Product Designer with Singpass, you will help shape and elevate the end-to-end experience for partners interacting with our services. Singpass is the National Digital Identity that powers secure and seamless experiences for individuals and businesses alike.

You’ll be part of the Partner Experience domain, where we focus on creating a smooth, intuitive journey for partners who adopt Singpass services. Your primary product will be the Singpass Developer Portal – a key platform that enables government agencies, businesses, and developers to discover, integrate, and manage Singpass APIs such as Sign, Verify and Myinfo.

This role is ideal for experienced individual contributors who enjoy mapping service journeys, identifying opportunities for bold improvements, and driving user-centric change alongside product teams.

You will report directly to the Head of the Design Function at Singpass.

What you will work on

  • Lead end-to-end design for the Singpass Developer Portal, spanning from onboarding documentation, integration flows and support experiences.

  • Map the partner experience journey and identify friction points across key touchpoints – discovery, setup, testing, go-live and beyond.

  • Closely collaborate with product, engineering, policy and support teams to streamline workflows and reduce integration complexity.

  • Design intuitive content and interaction patterns to make technical information easier to understand and act on.

  • Conduct research with partner users to uncover needs and pain points.

  • Drive experience standards and help establish best practices for platform and partner experience design.

  • Mentor junior designers and support design critiques, sharing best practices and guiding growth.

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 6 years of product, UX, or service design experience, with a strong portfolio that shows systems thinking and thoughtful execution.

  • Strong interaction and visual design skills, with the ability to make complex workflows feel simple.

  • Experience designing B2B or technical platforms – especially developer portals, API documentation sites, or self-service support tools.

  • Familiarity with service design or journey mapping across multi-stakeholder experiences.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to influence cross-functional product direction.

  • Experience working with technical and policy constraints, especially in regulated or public sector contexts.
