What the role is
What you will be working on
Some of the work requirements are as follows:
- Provide sanitation operational and administrative support to execute Vector Control preventive surveillance and outbreak operations.
- Attend to and resolve feedback from members of the public to ensure timely closure.
- Engage extensively with stakeholders to create awareness and facilitate compliance to the regulations.
- Support the enforcement of the Control of Vectors and Pesticides Act (CVPA) and Environmental Public Health Act (EPHA) to ensure adherence to environmental public health requirement.
- Investigate and interview witnesses and offenders.
- Gain hands-on experience in frontline enforcement operations to better understand investigation protocols and interviewing techniques

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- A team player with good problem solving skills
- Comfortable in working in a fast-paced environment and within tight deadlines
- Able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time in a fast paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Organised and able to multi-task
- Outgoing, pleasant personality, independent and resourceful.
- Experience in investigation will be an advantage
