Engineer/Senior Engineer (Transit Shelter Engineering Dept)

What the role is
We are looking for resourceful, energetic and self-motivated individuals who are inspired to play an active role to make a difference to Singapore’s built environment.
What you will be working on
You will process Civil and Structural (C&S)/ Mechanical engineering CD plans of Civil Defence shelters in MRT stations and Public Shelters submitted by consultants, conduct regulatory off-site and on-site inspections during construction, as well as to witness and assess shelter commissioning tests.
In addition, you will provide CD specialist engineering advice to other agencies on shelter matters.
Conduct deep-dive engineering and technical studies
Carry out in-depth process improvement studies using development of tech and digital solutions
What we are looking for
Trained in Civil & Structural/ Mechanical Engineering.
Good understanding of local Authority codes and regulations
Min. 2 to 5 years of Civil & Structural engineering design and site supervision experience in building engineering works.
Ability to work independently, good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Candidates preparing for registration with the PEB (passing FEE and/or PPE would be an advantage).
Successful candidates will be offered contract employment.
