What the role is
What you will be working on
- Review and revise academic policies such as assessment regulations, attendance, and academic integrity policies.
- Work with schools to manage poly-wide academic administration for PET and CET including results processing, credit transfer, deferment of learning units, appeals, conflict of interest in academic matters and policy reviews.
- Lead the Academic Operations Workgroup to streamline guidelines and implement new procedures/processes.
- Oversee implementation of Customised Study Pathway, including system enhancements and reporting to MOE.
- Support secretariat functions for Assessment Board, Assessment Syndicate, and Senate meetings including paper reviews, data analysis and post-meeting follow-ups.
- Plan the timetable for semestral examinations and set up the common examination venues.
- Perform superuser roles for key systems such as the Student Information Management System, and the Skills Training & Enhancement Portal.
- Undertake any other projects and tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
What we are looking for
Minimum years of experience and educational qualifications
- Relevant qualification in a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years administrative or academic operations experience, preferably in an educational setting.
- Proficient in MS Office.
Skills/knowledge/experience required and/or preferred
- Proven management and academic administrative experience.
- Knowledge of academic policies, examination operations, and student information systems.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in leading workgroups and implementing academic frameworks.
