What you will be working on
You will be working on:
• Formulate and review policies with regard to racial and religious harmony, including safeguarding common spaces in Singapore.
• Conduct research, environment scans and analyse trends on socio-economic, intra- and inter-racial and religious issues both in Singapore and globally.
• Work closely with Muis, MENDAKI, PA MESRA, various government agencies and external stakeholders to develop and review community initiatives and events.
• Provide Secretariat support to the Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs and various inter-agency committees.
What we are looking for
Work Experience:
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience, with demonstrated track record in policy work, stakeholder engagement, or community development
• Experience in managing inter-agency projects and working with diverse community stakeholders
• Strong understanding of Singapore's social fabric and community relations landscape
• Experience in policy analysis and development would be an advantage

Design for Implementation and Communication:
• Formulates policies that integrate strategic communications considerations from inception, ensuring effective public engagement and understanding
• Develops practical policy solutions with a keen awareness of implementation challenges, balancing ideals with on-the-ground realities
Stakeholders Engagement:
• Strategically identify, analyse, and prioritise stakeholders across diverse domains, developing targeted engagement approaches.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with varied stakeholders, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and aligning partnerships with organisational goals.
Data-driven Policy Analysis
• Utilises data analytics to review existing policies, programmes, and initiatives, assessing their effectiveness and impact
• Develops evidence-based recommendations for new or improved strategies, leveraging insights from complex data analysis
Personality traits:
• Strong organisational and coordination skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced working environment.
• Able to work in a team and independently.
• Proactive in seeking opportunities to collaborate with other parties
