What you will be working on

The incumbent's primary role is to ensure that Sport Development Group can effectively advance its strategic plans and respond to changes without impeding on its ability to deliver “Programming as Strategy” efforts. Role and Responsibilities: • Synthesise a broad programming strategy and outcomes framework for the Group by collating and processing plans from respective programme divisions. • Maintain and expand the functions of Group's dashboard as a monitoring tool of programme division’s performance. • Manage Group-level workplan processes and platforms including workplan retreats, townhalls, synergy sessions etc. • Design new programme development plans with Group's line units. • Drive programme integration across SN1, SN3, SN4, SN5 in meetings and workplan retreats, as well as cross groups to harness the synergy. • Design and implement relevant programme evaluation framework for the Group and put in place relevant support and resources for programme teams. • Collaborate with other Groups and respective divisions within the Group to ensure PE plans are in place for key projects to track programme effectiveness. • Drive adoption of PE through initiatives and knowledge sharing within the Group. • Liaise with respective IHL – Student & Sport Development Office – to discuss and develop customised programme plans. • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth delivery of programmes. • Develop and organise specific Youth@Play events in collaboration with the IHLs. • Work with the Team Lead in evaluating and engaging relevant stakeholders as part of the Associate Partner Scheme (APS) to build the supply of programme offerings that will cater to the interests of the youth segment. • Work with the Team Lead in identified special projects that achieve Group and/or SportSG’s strategic aim.

What we are looking for

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following: • At least 7 years of proven experience • Good strategic planning and analytical skills • Self-motivated and able to work independently and multi-task • Good organisational, management and administrative skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English • Proficient computer skills (standard software applications such as MS Office, email communications and internet research) The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a 2/3-year contract in the first instance. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
