What the role is
What you will be working on
You will support the implementation of new IT system and SHC-related initiatives, which could lead to policy refinements, process redesigns, system upgrades, technology adoptions and behavioural nudges. You will work with respective division/departments and leverage on Agile methodology to ensure successful project implementation. Beyond the SHC programme, you may be assigned to manage other IT and non-IT projects that support the organisation's broader objectives. Areas covered include but are not limited to:
Support the trial and implementation on the provision of data on footfall and table/seat occupancy rate and tray return rates, including exploring the use of IOT/Sensors in hawker centres and tracking of information through the use of video analytics and sensor analytics.
Support operational data analysis and system integration by monitoring hawker centre metrics (e.g., stall operations, utilities consumption), while executing data migration activities including mapping, cleansing and validation to ensure data quality and integration with central systems.
Work with cross-functional IT teams in the development and implementation of various digital solutions, employing Agile methodologies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Manage stakeholder relationships with IT vendors and internal teams, ensuring technical solutions meet business requirements while maintaining project timelines and quality standards.
Assist in develop and maintain product backlog, including user story creation and feature prioritisation based on business impact and technical feasibility
Contribute to technical decision-making processes, with focus on solution scalability, security compliance, and system integration requirements
Support the evaluation of AI solutions to enhance operational efficiency, particularly in areas of predictive analytics for crowd management and automated monitoring systems.
Ensure responsible AI implementation aligned with government guidelines and best practices
Explore and evaluate the adoption of low-code/no-code platforms to accelerate digital solution delivery, while optimising business processes and maintaining security compliance standards

Adapts readily to evolving business needs whilst maintaining consistent performance standards.
Preferably 2-3 years of relevant working experience with 1-2 years of relevant working experience in IT project management.
