What the role is
What you will be working on
Responsibilities
Data Analytics
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business context and strategic priorities to define problem statements and objectives and develop key performance indicators and metrics
Collect and review relevant data from various enterprise programmes and engagement data and perform data cleaning, validation and checks to enable data-driven decision making
Analyse enterprise programme and engagement data to identify key insights and trends that inform enterprise workforce development and engagement strategies and policy enhancements
Develop predictive models and conduct advanced data analytics to forecast programme outcomes and evaluate programme effectiveness
Create user-friendly interactive dashboards using data visualisation tools to present strategic insights on programme performance. Maintain and enhance these dashboards for performance tracking
Present analytical findings and projections on programme adoption to stakeholders in clear, compelling ways that drive decision-making
Contribute towards a data-driven culture through knowledge sharing and best practices
Systems Development
Collaborate with relevant IT personnel, internal stakeholders and vendors, to support the development and enhancement of relevant digital tools and systems to support onboarding of enterprises on WSG programmes
Lead the requirement gathering sessions and translate business needs by working with the relevant IT personnel on the technical specifications
Drive project implementation from conception to delivery, ensuring alignment with stakeholders needs and monitoring project timelines and outcomes
What we are looking for
Requirements
Knowledge/Skills
Strong knowledge of advanced analytics and predictive modelling techniques
Relevant experience in data analytics, predictive modelling, or statistical analysis
Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g. Stata, SAS, R, Python, Tableau) would be advantageous
Experience in process owner implementation of IT systems and data analysis in public service context would be advantageous
Good knowledge of data platforms and ability to discuss technical requirements
Proven experience in building and maintaining interactive dashboards for tracking programme performance
Ability to conduct predictive analytics and forecast outcomes
Good project management skills
Good communication skills with the ability to work closely with internal and external teams
Abilities/Aptitudes
Team player with good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with and address the needs of diverse stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies
Interest in leveraging data analytics and digital solutions to drive enterprise development strategies
Resourceful, determined and adaptable
