As a Manager/ Senior Manager, SPED intervention in the Special Educational Needs Division, you will be part of a team to design and lead intervention frameworks and supports in Special Education (SPED) schools to ensure optimal student outcomes across a diverse spectrum of disability profiles. You will be required to interact with key stakeholders in the SPED sector and work closely with other divisions in MOE.

What the role is
What you will be working on
• Lead/ support the development and review of disability-focused educational and intervention models including the Tiered model of intervention
• Design professional support and development for schools in behaviour management and intervention
• Work with other agencies in leading/ supporting the transition from pre-school to school, and school to post-school including the measurement of SPED Outcomes
• Conduct research and evaluation
What we are looking for
• Possess a Masters in Educational Psychology, Special Needs Intervention or related field(s)
• At least 5-7 years of relevant working experience in a SPED or disability setting
• Possess good analytical, communication and writing skills to distil complex issues into clear, actionable insights
• Ability to analyse complex interdependencies across different domains and agencies, and develop integrated solutions that address systemic challenges
• Proactive and self-directed individual with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work well independently and in a team
