What the role is
The successful candidate will be responsible for strategizing, conceptualising and implementing partnership strategies/outreach programmes to support PUB’s strategic outcomes by working with various stakeholders eg schools, educators, corporates, NGOs and community partners to further PUB’s narratives and messaging effectively, gain recall and groom water advocates. He/she must be a driven leader, able to propose and execute innovative and targeted outreach and engagement initiatives and manage team of officers to engage the stakeholders to build awareness, drive conversions and support for PUB/water-related causes.
What you will be working on
The key areas of work are:
• Conceptualise, oversee and implement partnership strategies, outreach programmes and campaigns to meet PUB objectives, with clear deliverables and measurable outcomes.
• Engage internal stakeholders to understand organisation needs, projects, issues and challenges and develop outreach initiatives to best meet them
• Build and sustain relationships with external stakeholders which includes identifying opportunities and working with them to encourage ground-up initiatives, develop programmes and events to effectively engage the relevant stakeholders.
• Engage potential and existing stakeholders across various platforms (face to face, physical and electronic) to achieve organisational outcomes
• Plan, curate and execute new programmes, partnerships, and other engagement initiatives.
• Sustain NEWater education to the community through various platforms (NEWater distribution, partnerships and programming etc)
• Develop indicators and collect data to evaluate effectiveness of outreach programmes and engagement initiatives, to improve them and inform future strategy and plans.
• Manage databases of groups of stakeholders
• Tier stakeholders to best allocate engagement resources
• Attend non-PUB programmes and events that are relevant, to better understand stakeholders’ interests and activities.
What we are looking for
• Degree in a related discipline (e.g. Comms, Marketing, Social Sciences), with minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in stakeholder engagement, with at least 5 years in a supervisory position
• Experience in stakeholder relations, partnership, programme development and integrated marketing and event management
• Excellent analytical skills, able to interpret quantitative and qualitative data to identify stakeholder/audience insights to inform future strategy
• Good understanding of the partnership and engagement landscape
• Highly driven, proactive and resourceful individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced and challenging environment, with the ability to multi-task and meet tight timelines
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and project management skills
• Possess strong knowledge of various CRM systems
• Work well independently and also a good team player
• Able to work weekday nights and weekends when required
