What you will be working on
You will support Team Lead, Planning and Capability Development to formulate strategic plans aligned to SportSG's Vision 2030 goals and oversee Active Health's planning, budgeting, and milestone projects. This includes establishing/managing relationships and collaborations with healthcare partners locally and overseas to enable citizens' health and wellness journeys through evidence-based approaches. You will drive capability development, monitor global trends in exercise science and population health, and analyse data sources to recommend strategic shifts for Active Health.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Operations
• Lead Active Health's strategic planning processes and develop business strategies based on strengths and gaps analysis within Singapore's health ecosystem and prevailing environment, in service of SportSG Vision 2030 and Active Health’s strategy.
• Provide quarterly and annual KPI updates to senior management and stakeholders whilst managing budget visibility and resource allocation.
• Establish operational processes with internal teams to track impact and measure success.
2. Capability Development
• Assess industry landscape and develop comprehensive capability development plans for industry/community multipliers and practitioners.
• Design professional development initiatives and upskilling programmes to build expertise across the Active Health ecosystem and partner with internal teams for development/implementation.
• Partner with stakeholders to advance capability-building initiatives and leverage technology for operational scaling.
3. Partnership Development & Programme Management
• Develop/maintain partnerships with MOH, Regional Health Systems, academia, and key sector stakeholders to enable evidence-based health and wellness journeys for citizens.
• Oversee programme and project development across Active Health initiatives in collaboration with abovementioned stakeholders, leading cross-functional teams for milestone delivery.
• Manage MOU commitments and explore strategic collaborations locally and overseas.
4. Research & Analytics
• Drive research initiatives that support Active Health strategy and capability development priorities.
• Oversee dashboard preparation and insights presentations with focus on success stories and outcomes tracking.
• Prototype new technological capabilities and analytical tools to enhance strategic decision-making.

What we are looking for
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community.
This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active.
In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following:
• At least 10 years of proven experience and/or track record in relevant areas, e.g. Sport Science Management, Business Management, Humanities and Social Sciences, Project Management, Stakeholder Management
• Strong strategic planning and budgeting experience
• Healthcare sector knowledge and stakeholder management and engagement experience
• Experience in project management and the ability to lead project teams and taskforces
• Statistical analysis skills (e.g. R software) and data visualisation experience (e.g. Tableau)
• Research design and programme evaluation experience
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to interact professional with diverse group of both management and operations staff

• High level of professionalism and integrity
The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a 2/3-year contract in the first instance.
