What you will be working on

The incumbent is responsible for Active Health Lab operations in two to three ActiveSG Zones located within one Public Healthcare System. He/She will also be responsible for Active Health programme design and content curation anchored upon the Active Health Doctrine through an evidence-based approach. Roles & Responsibilities • Work closely with AH Team Leads on reviewing latest insights on industry and target segments to continuously enhance programme effectiveness. • Establish collaborative relationships internally and externally with community, healthcare and industry partners, with the intent to collaborate on programmatic designs and content curation for different segment populations. • Support Active Health National and Precinct campaigns/projects with Active Health Team Leads as well as internal stakeholders on implementation and operations to enhance the health and wellness knowledge of the community, via activation and content design as well as deployment of Active Health coaches. • Work closely with Cluster Leads, AH Team Leads, ActiveSG and Sports Centre operations teams for the promotion of the social prescription through sport and exercise at a precinct level, increasing referrals and driving traffic to Active Health and ActiveSG offerings. • Review and plan new Active Health’s work streams by garnering inputs/insights from ground operations. • Plan with multiple managers on the deployment of manpower to ensure daily operational excellence and venue readiness. • Control and plan for efficient deployment of budget utilisation and resource allocation. • Support within teams in enhancing operational efficiency through technology application and business process improvement. • Lead planning and implementation of the Active Health Experience for Public Service Division (PSD). • Work closely with Engagement Team in building and maintaining relationships with public agencies and corporates with target conversion towards Active Health programmes and packages. • Support Active Masters Team to operationalise SportSG Frailty Prevention Programme (intervention and maintenance programmes) to improve the functional health of seniors. • Provide adequate training for internal manpower to uphold professional standards and quality of services. • Establish best practices in lab operations to ensure high standards of service, safety, and customer satisfaction. • Establish standard operating procedures (SOP) with alignment across similar settings to benchmark against international standards and industry best practices. • Work closely with other Team Leads to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with established SOPs via structured regular division audits and assessment.

What we are looking for

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following: • At least 10 years of experience in sport and exercise science/public health or related fields. • Strong familiarity with lab or community-based exercise/ sport science, physiology/nutrition, physical activity, public health related content design. • Experience in clinical exercise physiology would be an advantage. • Experience in research, ideally within exercise/ sport science, physiology/nutrition, physical activity, public health related. • Strong familiarity with healthcare partners narratives and programmatic efforts. • Experience in project management and the ability to lead teams in operations on the ground. • Knowledge and experience in programme evaluation. • Experience in leading a team/project/taskforces. • Critical thinking skills and analytical ability to exercise independent judgement. • Strong work ethics, learning agility, self-driven and a fast learner. • Strong interest in research and advancing evidence-based practices in promoting health at the population level. • Demonstrated leadership skills, with prior experience in leading a team and ability to guide and build a high performing team. • Strong interpersonal skills and organizational awareness, with the ability to build relationships with local and global stakeholders, within business and functional lines. • Strong communication and presentation skills, with proven ability to articulate points of view, strategies, results etc. clearly and credibly. The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a 2/3-year contract in the first instance.
