What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be part of the 2 Financial Planning team responsible to ensure governance and controls for Public Transport initiatives/ schemes as well as budgeting and funding matters. Your roles will include:
a) Leading the analysis and reporting of budgets related to Public Transport initiatives and schemes, including mid-term expenditure projections.
b) Partnering with various LTA Groups to provide insights on business processes and identify key business cost drivers for Public Transport initiatives and schemes.
c) Offering financial, funding, and governance advisory services to LTA Groups to enhance the quality of funding proposals for Public Transport initiatives and schemes. This includes suggesting best practices and identifying cost optimisation opportunities.
d) Playing a role in the development, planning and implementation of Public Transport related initiatives/schemes in line with the delivery of the organisation’s strategic objectives.
e) Contributing to the drive for continuous improvements by streamlining/optimising existing business processes and recommending/implementing digitalisation initiatives to achieve business excellence.
f) Any ad hoc assignments as required.
What we are looking for
• Knowledge in Accountancy/Business Administration/ Finance or equivalent professional qualifications preferred. Other disciplines are welcome to apply.
• At least 4 or more years of working experience. Candidates with more years of experience will be considered for more senior position.
• Good working knowledge and understanding of risk assessment and internal controls.
• Strong analytical skills, resourceful, meticulous and a team player.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset to work with diverse teams.
• Ability to interact across different internal and external stakeholders and at all levels.
• Data analytics knowledge will be an advantage.
