What the role is

The Planning & Organisation Development (POD) team plays a vital role in shaping ECDA's strategic direction and developing our most valuable asset - our people. You will help drive ECDA's human capital priorities and foster an environment where officers thrive. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape workforce capabilities while creating meaningful impact on our officers' professional growth and well-being.

What you will be working on

As part of our dynamic team, you will contribute towards the following: 1. Resource Planning and Ops a. Oversee causal staff management, including onboarding and offboarding, maintain manpower records, and manage associated budgets b. Support forward planning of manpower resources, e.g. monitoring manpower deployment, augmenting / automating manpower ops processes 2. Staff Engagement and Well Being a. Foster staff engagement and wellbeing through activities, e.g. dialogues with Senior Management, Brown Bag learning lunches, engagements with the Wellness Ambassador Community b. Partner the organising committee in planning and operationalisation of staff wellbeing events c. Champion staff recognition efforts e.g. polling for and seeking endorsement of nominations, organising award ceremony / celebrations 3. Organisation Development a. Support the cultivation of an effective leadership culture in ECDA, e.g. through organisation of middle management retreats, networking and knowledge exchange sessions The role also includes supporting team initiatives and cross-functional projects as needed, and there may be opportunities to take on additional projects based on your interests and capabilities.

What we are looking for

- Candidates with at least 3 years of relevant experience in organisational development, staff engagement or human resource management are preferred. We also welcome promising individuals who demonstrate strong learning agility and relevant capabilities. - Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills - Resilient self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments, embraces change and demonstrates strong initiative in tackling new challenges - Proven track record in stakeholder management across all levels - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
