What you will be working on
• Design and deliver impactful parent-focused programmes and events for Active Parents movement.
- Lead/support programme/event design with partners, applying SportSG’s design principles for shared outcomes.
- Oversee planning, operations, and on-site delivery for seamless execution and positive participant experiences.
• Amplify Active Parents’ reach and participation.
- Lead/support outreach and marketing initiatives e.g., roadshows and integrated marketing communications – ensuring strong branding and visibility.
- Continuously review and improve outreach strategies for greater engagement.
What we are looking for
As part of the Strategic Planning and Programme Integration Division in the Sport Development Group, this role in the Preschool and Parent Programme Development team designs and delivers events, initiatives, and professional development programmes to boost sport participation and shift mindsets among children, early childhood educators, and parents. It involves leading or supporting programme, event, and workshop design with partners, applying SportSG’s design principles for mutually beneficial outcomes, and managing development, operations, and delivery to ensure a seamless experience and high satisfaction.
An ideal candidate should possess 2-3 years' experience in the following domains:
• Programme design, outreach initiatives
• Working with internal/external stakeholders to deliver programmes and initiatives
• Project/event management, preferably in sport related field
• Integrated marketing campaigns and efforts with online and offline deliverables
In addition, the candidate should also possess:
• Relevant experience in event/programme planning, development, and execution; and working with children/parents/educators would be advantageous.
• Strong command of English, written and spoken for public communications.
