What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be expected to:
• Plan and manage the day-to-day security operations
• Manage the administration of card access and CCTV systems
• Ensure the functionality and reliability of the security systems
• Oversee operations and deployment of Auxiliary Police Officers
• Liaise with relevant agencies on security matters
• Manage parking related matters
• Assist in the review, implementation and enforcement of security programmes and policies
• Manage security related projects
• Conduct red teaming intrusion exercises and perform supervisory visits
• Deposit found and unclaimed properties to Singapore Police Force
• Ensure timely filing of records pertaining to Security matters
• Support budget and invoice management functions as well as perform the duties of a Department Goods Receipts Officer
• Support the administration of Fixed Assets for Security, including Temporary Access Cards
• Any other tasks, including the temporary covering of duties assigned by Deputy Director, Security and Senior Assistant Director, Security
What we are looking for
Requirements:
• Up to 3 years’ relevant working experience. A sound knowledge of security principles, systems and procedures would be an added advantage.
• Work experience from uniformed organisations and holding the rank of at least Sergeant would be preferred
• Possess good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, independent and able to work with minimal supervision
• Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team and with different stakeholders
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

The successful candidate will be appointed on a one-year probationary contract in the first instance.
