What the role is
What you will be working on
We are seeking for a dynamic professional who has a blend of technical knowledge and play a crucial role in ensuring the consistent application of robust and effective engineering methodologies across all IT projects. This role will work closely with the practice leads and IT project managers to establish the practices and standards for successful project delivery.
Your responsibilities include the following:
- Enforce, implement and integrate the IT engineering practices into the IT projects. Assess & recommend the appropriate practice for adoption (e.g. for similar project scope) for IT projects
- Participate in the project planning / key milestones of the project to support the team in the adoption of the practices throughout the project lifecycle and highlight potential risks or deviation
- Highlight any potential engineering-related risks or deviations across the practices, work with project teams and leads to develop mitigation strategies
- Monitor the engineering practices effectives through key performance indicators, analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Conduct awareness and training on the respective practices
What we are looking for
• Knowledge in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.
• PMP or equivalent certification will be advantageous.
• At least 10 years of experience in IT project delivery, with significant focus on software development, infrastructure engineering or related disciplines
• Familiarity with quality assurance principles and practices
• Strong understanding of various IT project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall) and their integration with engineering practices
• Excellence in communication and engagement skills to engage effectively with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization users.
• Good interpersonal, written and presentation skills.
• High drive and self-motivated individual with strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Adaptable self-starter in a dynamic environment
