What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be responsible for the following:
- Coordinate with contracted sampling teams and laboratories to ensure accurate and timely collection of water samples
- Verify and track deployment of scheduled sampling plan for licensable aquatic facilities (AF) and registrable aerosol-generating systems (AGS) to ensure proper documentation
- Inspect and audit the water quality of licensable AF and registrable AGS to maintain quality assurance
- Interpret and analyse the test results from the water samples
- Carry out enforcement actions for offences that contravene the Environmental Public Health Act (EPHA) and their AF and AGS subsidiary legislations, including the preparation of enforcement documents and follow-up actions
- Engage and educate stakeholders on compliance requirements, preventive measures and regulations
- Handle feedback, enquiries and appeals from licensees and registered owners/operators
- Conduct inspections at funeral parlours to ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide advice to building plan department on possible building plan non-compliances.

- Good writing skills, able to frame ideas and proposals in a clear and concise manner
- Plan and apply analytical reasoning to areas of work such as test results from the water samples etc.
- Competent in statistics and data management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Word
