What the role is

As part of our team, you will assist in managing NAC's portfolio of arts centres and venues. You will oversee facilities operations and projects, including management of Place and Venue Manager for facilities management operations, data collation and the full cycle of service procurement. With your strong facilities or property management background, you will provide expertise on maintenance and improvement programmes for these arts spaces.

What you will be working on

  • Collaborating with and managing Place and Venue Managers to resolve reported maintenance issues

  • Supporting the procurement process for cyclical maintenance and upgrading works of arts spaces and assets

  • Managing the planned capital works programme for centres and venues

  • Conducting site inspections to verify work completion and ensure compliance with specifications and contractual requirements

  • Managing and analysing data to improve operational efficiency

  • Contributing to ongoing initiatives for arts space rejuvenation

  • Participating in asset sighting and verification exercises

What we are looking for

  • Degree in Facilities Management / Real Estate / Engineering or equivalent from local universities.

  • Experience in Facilities Management will be an added advantage.

  • Good understanding of the government procurement process.

  • Tender Management for State Properties

  • Operations Infrastructure Enhancement

  • Contract Management

  • Strong organising skills, ability to plan and ensure timely implementation.

  • Write and present well, meticulous and deliver good quality work.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications.

  • Confident to manage the different stakeholder groups, eager to learn.
