What you will be working on

Responsibilities Reporting to the Manager, Finance, your responsibilities include: 1. Manage the general ledger and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing. 2. Prepare monthly consolidated financial reports and schedules, including the raising of journal entries for accruals and adjustments. 3. Support the development of dashboards and data visualisations to deliver insightful financial reports for strategic decision-making. 4. Prepare the annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards 5. Liaise with auditors on annual statutory audits for IPOS Group 6. Handle budget updates, shortfalls, virements, and daily operational matters. 7. Prepare reports and statistics for management, government agencies etc. 8. Drive process improvements through data analytics and automation. 9. Review and update finance policies in line with standards and regulations. 10. Lead and execute accounting related system enhancements and projects. 11. Ad-hoc finance duties as assigned.

What we are looking for

Are you the one? Please write to us if you have/are: 1. A Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent with preferably 2-5 years of related functional working experience 2. Hands-on experience with WorkDay system would be an advantage 3. The energy, curiosity and ambition to make a difference in an innovation agency 4. Proactive, resilient and confident in engaging multiple stakeholders of varying seniority 5. Meticulous, demonstrate critical and independent thinking, good adaptability skills, capability to solve problems and think creatively.
