What the role is
What you will be working on
As Deputy Manager/Manager (Course Management) you will manage SAA’s training courses and programmes targeted at international government and industry participants.
The role involves engaging with participants, both local and international, to ensure a positive experience from end-to-end i.e. pre, during and post course. It will also include handling all administrative and financial arrangements, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of the programmes and identifying areas of improvements.
What we are looking for
- Trained in Business or equivalent areas
- At least 2 years of working experience in planning and organising international programmes; familiar with digital platforms
- Customer-oriented mindset
- Keen attention to detail and ability to manage international participants
- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with stakeholders
- Able to work under pressure
- Familiarity with government procurement processes would be an advantage
Note: Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure during the contract period.
