To assist in formulating and implementing national non-communicable disease prevention policies with relevant partners and stakeholders to reduce the overall burden of non-communicable diseases by lowering prevalence of modifiable risk factors contributing to chronic disease development and increasing early detection of chronic diseases.

1. Develop appropriate, relevant and timely preventive health policies to reduce the overall burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). 2. Enhance Singapore’s regional and global reputation as an active player in NCD prevention and health promotion. 3. Support MOH on public health matters in relation to the external environment.
