The Singapore Police Force (SPF) plays a critical role in keeping Singapore safe and secure with our mission to prevent, deter and detect crime. As a Licensing and DIPS Officer in the Traffic Police, you play an important role in ensuring the smooth operations of services which include the issuance, validity check, renewal and replacement of qualified Singapore driving licences, as well as managing transactions related to driver suspension under the Driver Improvement Points System (DIPS) and revocation/ disqualification of driving licences ordered by the Courts. You will be responsible for: • Managing frontline customer service points at Traffic Police Headquarters • Processing licensing transactions and ensuring prompt record updates • Administering suspension and revocation of driving licences • Administering Court disqualification of driving licences • Processing renewal of driving licences for prescribed aged motorists • Processing reports of motorists who are diagnosed to be medically unfit to drive • Acting as subject matter expert for licensing policies and regulations under the Road Traffic Act • Verify and certify billing matters including invoices for enveloping services, mailing services, printing of forms/ notices, and production of photocard driving licences • Leverage RPA (Robotic Process Automation) capabilities to streamline and automate routine administrative processes, enhancing operational efficiency in data management and transaction processing

We are looking for a proactive and dynamic individual to be part of our Licensing team. You will report to the Supervisor (Licensing & DIPS) and Head (Testing & Licensing). Requirements: • Prior knowledge and work experience in service or operating environment (advantage) • Good interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written form • Basic IT knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft software applications • Service-oriented mindset • Ability to adapt and work in fast-paced environment • Proactive team player • Willingness to embrace changes from digitalisation of processes • Open to rotation of duties at frontline and backend support services Shortlisted candidate will be notified within two weeks' time after the closing date of application.
