What the role is
Applications for the Ministry of Finance (MOF) Winter Internship Programme are now open. As an MOF intern, you will gain valuable insights and contribute to projects that support national policy-making and shape the everyday lives of Singaporeans.
Interns are required to commit at least 4-5 weeks between 8 Dec 2025 – 11 Jan 2026.
MOF's Economic and Fiscal Analysis Directorate is looking for undergraduates to undertake the following project(s).

What you will be working on
Project #1: Analysis of Government Revenue from Vehicle-related Taxes
Assist in building an analytics pipeline for analysing the dynamics of vehicle-related revenues. Job scope will involve automating data compilation, performing quantitative analysis, and producing visualisations and summaries to support assessments of future revenue patterns.
Project #2: Geospatial analysis of Land Betterment Charges (and the predecessor schemes) in Singapore. Job Scope will involve creating a time series of Land Betterment Charge Table of Rates for Singapore, and producing geospatial visualisations and summaries of their changes over time.
What we are looking for
Studying economics or data science. Interest in understanding land policy and applying data analysis and geospatial visualisation skills. Experience with basic geospatial analysis is a plus.
