What the role is
Project title: Strengthening Financial Governance through Second Line Checks
Support the finance department in strengthening financial governance through development and implementation of second-line checks. The project involves risk assessment, documentation of control procedures, and execution of control testing.
What you will be working on
- Analyse financial processes to identify potential risk areas and control gaps
- Develop comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for conducting second-line checks
- Execute second-line checks under guidance
- Document findings and prepare reports on control effectiveness
What we are looking for
- Background in accounting or finance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel)
- Understanding of data analytics
- Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills
