We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead professional capability development initiatives for coastal protection. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of our nation's coastal resilience by strategising and developing industry capabilities to support coastal protection infrastructure implementation. You will play a crucial role in strengthening Singapore's coastal protection ecosystem by developing and implementing professional capability frameworks and training programmes. This position involves close collaboration with key industry partners, professional bodies and IHLs.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead engagement with professional bodies (Professional Engineers Board, Institution of Engineers Singapore, Singapore Contractors Association Limited) to develop and implement capability development frameworks • Conduct technical assessments of existing certifications and evaluate their adequacy for coastal protection requirements • Oversee the development and implementation of continuing education programmes for the coastal protection industry • Identify capability gaps and develop comprehensive curriculum in partnership with key stakeholders (IHLs, trade associations, professional bodies). This involves the curation of training programmes for the industry. • Coordinate with government agencies to provide technical expertise for coastal protection content courses • Spearhead internal capability building for the department which includes course administration, curation of development opportunities and competency framework development etc.
