What the role is
The Centre for Planning & Technology (CPT) is responsible for charting the development of HTA by driving the strategic planning and technology planning processes, ensuring alignment of systems and capabilities to drive HTA’s transformation.
The Centre comprises 3 branches:
a) Planning & Organisation which oversees the following portfolios:
• Strategic & Corporate Planning;
• Resource Planning & Management;
• Org Development & Excellence;
• Corporate Governance (Risk Management); and
• Knowledge Management.
b) Tech Plans & Development which oversees the following portfolios:
• Oversee, stock-take and iterate tech masterplan;
• Ops-Tech competency development;
• Enterprise-level data analytics, infrastructure development and upskilling;
• Data Governance ; and
• Projects e.g. HTLMS2.0, AV, digitalisation.
c) ICT which oversees the following portfolios:
• IT infrastructure support including Data Centre and network;
• ICT Infrastructure projects; and
• IT governance e.g IT audits, cybersecurity exercises, IT incidents.
What you will be working on
The officer will:
• Lead in a comprehensive benchmarking study to assess the effectiveness and competitiveness of HTA as a Corporate University against leading international standards and best practices;
• Review and maintain HTA’s business continuity and crisis response plans to ensure HTA’s readiness in responding to crisis and in supporting national-level operations such as government quarantine facilities in HTA;
• Assist with HTA’s annual corporate planning process through a series of events such as the leaders’ retreats and corporate retreats and thereafter engage with Centres and HTDs in developing HTA’s annual and long-term workplans through consultations with HTA Centres;
• Review of resource optimisation of space in HTA; and
• Undertake secondary appointments, duties or projects that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
What we are looking for
• Experience in strategic planning, resource planning, organisation development, knowledge management or corporate governance would be an advantage.
• Ability to perceive and conceptualise ideas;
• Strong knowledge of trends and issues affecting the Home Team;
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills;
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills; and
• Articulate with strong writing and presentation skills.
This is a contract post that will expire in Dec 2027.
