What the role is

The Prime Minister's Office, the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) is responsible for the investigation and prevention of corruption in Singapore. It ensures that zero tolerance towards corruption is maintained, and Singapore remains corruption-free. CPIB welcomes motivated individuals who identifies with CPIB’s mission to consider the position of Senior Executive / Manager, Internal Audit Office (IAO) in our organisation.

What you will be working on

The Senior Executive / Manager, Internal Audit Office (IAO) is a middle management position that provides assurance to the integrity of the internal core processes, proper accounting of public monies, as well as efficient and effective use of public resources in CPIB. As the deputy to the Head IAO, the Senior Executive / Manager (IAO) assists the Head in leading the internal audit and enterprise risk management functions. The Senior Executive / Manager (IAO) has to work with internal stakeholders to: 1) ensure the highest level of compliance in financial and resource management through audits; 2) mitigate systemic lapses in risk and resource management; and 3) assess the effectiveness of internal control measures against risks. Senior Executive / Manager (IAO) also leads and guides a junior auditor in the performance of audits and risk management.

What we are looking for

We welcome individuals who meet the following pre-requisites to join our team: • Possess a Degree from a recognised university, with at least 5 years of proven auditing experience • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills • Strong analytical skills for data and has high attention to details • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to adopt technology in work performance (e.g. accounting / data analytical software and databases) • Singapore Citizen Possession of an Audit Certification will be an added advantage. Reporting to the Prime Minister's Office directly, CPIB is the government department responsible for the investigation and prevention of corrupt offences in Singapore, thus ensuring that Singapore remains corrupt-free, contributing to good governance.
