What the role is
What you will be working on
Plan, implement and manage work within the new Artificial Intelligence (AI) standards programme:
- Undertake engagement/collaborative proceedings with industry members (both domestic and international) to work towards developing relevant national artificial intelligence standards.
- Provide advice to stakeholders in adoption and implementation of standards, technical references, guidelines and/or best practices.
- Keep abreast of developments in the policy domain and standards in global landscape and industry.
- Participate and advance Singapore's position in international AI standardisations.
- Support ad-hoc projects, events and/or research on AI.

Candidate is also expected to assist in general tasks and administrative work within the Standards Development and Regulatory Technology division.
What we are looking for
- Background in Communication Engineering or relevant disciplines.
- Strong technical aptitude and demonstrated interest and willingness to learn and understand new technologies.
- Good understanding of info-communication domains such as AI, machine learning, etc. is desired.
- Familiar with info-communication standardisation works will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant field(s).
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Team player, with good interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Self-driven, agile, and able to operate in evolving environment.
- Good in report writing and communication skills.
