What the role is
As an Executive Engineer/Senior Engineer for the Catchment and Waterways Department, Drainage Operations Division, your main roles and responsibilities would include but not limited to:
What you will be working on
• Manage and review drainage inspection regime for construction sites
• Manage and supervise contractors conducting construction site inspections, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures
• Execute drainage enforcement duties including:
o Conducting site inspections
o Investigating and collecting evidence
o Conducting interviews with relevant parties
o Preparing comprehensive investigation reports
o Managing appeals
• Analyse enforcement-related statistics to monitor the performance and generate insights for continuous improvement of the drainage inspection regime
• Process and evaluate public feedback regarding minor infrastructure along drainage reserves, ensuring alignment with established guidelines through budget management, project management and coordination of asset handover to relevant agencies for maintenance
What we are looking for
• Degree in Civil/Structural/Environmental Engineering
• Independent, result-oriented and self-driven team player with good systemic thinking, communication and project management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
