What the role is

This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer in the School of Health Sciences.

What you will be working on

You should be a self-starter who is resourceful and creative, with a passion to teach, engage students to facilitate learning such as experiential/action learning, research/industrial projects, field trips etc. You should have a strong network in the industry and be professionally engaged to undertake curriculum review and development work.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Teach optometry-related subjects and perform clinical supervision. 

  • Develop, review and update curriculum materials to reflect current industry standards and best practices.

  • Engage in collaborative projects with industry partners.

What we are looking for

  • A good degree in Optometry and registered with the Singapore Optometrists and Optician Board (OOB) with at least 3 years of post-registration work experience.

  • Experience in clinical supervision and teaching experience are desirable.
