What the role is
What you will be working on
With our increasing number of rail and road projects, there are always new contracts being formed to support such projects so as to keep Singapore's public transport system going and growing. LTA Safety & Contracts group plays a critical role in procuring contracts and managing contractual issues for all our various land transport projects.
You will work on a diverse range of IT & Other Systems; Transport Systems; and/or Electrical & Mechanical Services contracts. Your key role is to ensure contract governance, and all tender and contract administration processes comply with the LTA’s requirements and procedures.
You will be involved in preparing cost estimates for new projects / initiatives / feasibility studies, drafting tender documents, evaluating tenders, administrating contracts (e.g. processing of payments, valuation of variations, assessment of claims) and providing contractual advice to project teams.
What we are looking for
• Knowledge in Computer / Electrical / Electronics / Information Technology / Mechanical / Systems Engineering
• At least 2 years of working experience in contract administration or project management of multi-disciplinary engineering projects is preferred
• Good knowledge of conditions of contract for IT, engineering or construction projects is preferred
• Organized and meticulous with the ability to work independently
• Strong written, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• A team player and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
