What the role is

What you will be working on
CSDP is open to both recent graduates and working professionals, and consists of two phases: classroom training phase, followed by a job posting.
During the training phase, CSDP officers will be put through a rigorous curriculum to acquire cybersecurity certifications*, thereafter, CSDP officers will be posted to either one of CSA’s divisions or CSA’s partner agencies** to gain experience in one of these areas in cybersecurity (non-exhaustive):
• Malware Analysis

• Emerging Technologies
• Penetration Testing
• Cybersecurity Solutions and Consultancy
• Cybersecurity Operations Centre
• Threat Intelligence
• Governance, Risk and Compliance
During the job posting, CSDP officers will also gain valuable experience working on cybersecurity projects at the national level, undergo technical and non-technical courses, and receive exposure to engage recognised industry players, and the general public to improve Singapore’s cybersecurity posture. At the end of the 12-month programme, CSDP officers can look forward to continuing employment either in CSA or be forward deployed to other government agencies (subject to meeting performance expectations and matching of job roles). Candidates are offered full salary for the entire 12-month programme period including the training phase and identified training courses/certifications will be fully sponsored by CSA.
* Trainings may be subject to change.
**Further assessment(s) may be required in order to determine candidate’s suitability for the first job posting, factoring in each candidate’s interest and the cybersecurity needs across the Whole-Of-Government (WOG). Due consideration will be taken and the final decision on the first job posting will be at CSA’s discretion.
