What the role is

You play a critical role in strengthening the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) safety audits through the leading of ISO 45001 (Navy) audits and Unalerted Safety Scans (USS) in the RSN and manage all post-audit administration including preparation of all audit report.

What you will be working on

- Spearhead the audit team to develop and manage the audit schedule for the work year - Develop the audit programme and if required, evaluate all proposed adjustments to the audit programme - Lead and oversee the conduct of the audit - Prepare the audit report which include all audit observations, clarifications and appeals - Maintain close collaboration with the safety community - Ensure the archival of all audit related documentations - Being the key spokesperson in presenting the key findings of the audits at the relevant safety forums Challenge(s) - Understanding the different safety management systems of the diverse array of units and platforms - Building good working relationship and ensuring objective, tactful and sensitive communication to prevent resistance from unit during the conduct of audit - Keeping pace with the digitalisation drive

What we are looking for

- Education in Safety, specialist diploma in workplace safety and health (WSH Level C) - At least 6 years of experience in safety related roles - Strong communication and organisational skills - Understanding the intricacies of ISO 45001 audit process Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
