What the role is

You oversee and optimise the Defence Psychology Department’s daily operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and alignment with organisational objectives.

What you will be working on

- Manage departmental operations - Coordinate cross-functional projects - Drive digital transformation - Establish data governance frameworks - Lead research methodology advancement - Oversee IT ecosystem integration - Manage stakeholder relationships - Deliver psychological products Challenge(s) - Building a resilient IT ecosystem by integrating digital tools and systems into workflows - Establishing a robust data governance framework - Curating new analysis methodologies to deliver quality psychological products

What we are looking for

- Education in Psychology or related field with specialisation in research methods and demonstrate a strong foundation in psychological research methodologies - At least 8 years of experience in business operations or strategic planning, with demonstrated success in implementing digital transformation initiatives - Good understanding of data governance and security frameworks, data management workflow and experience managing technical projects in complex organisations - Leadership presence and organisational awareness to coordinate business operations across multiple stakeholders. - Track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships across government agencies - Strong analytical and conceptual thinking to translate complex psychological theories into practical military frameworks - Technical aptitude and strategic mindset to drive digital transformation and data governance initiatives - Systematic approach and adaptable mindset to balance day-to-day operations with long-term strategic development - Adaptable mindset to balance day-to-day operations with long-term strategic development Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
