You are responsible to manage safety competencies at various echelons of the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) through structured safety training. You also develop and manage effective training programmes while ensuring quality standards across internal and external training partners.

What the role is
What you will be working on
- Develop and review safety training and development framework
- Conduct training needs analysis to identify training gaps in the current training roadmap
- Research, manage and review safety education and development programmes in the RSN including engaging industry for best practices and materials
- Review the performance of the safety courses conducted by various entities
- Manage Safety Practitioners' competency requirements
- Organise RSN Safety Climate Survey
Challenge(s)
- Understanding evolving Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and fast-following into RSN Safety Policies and governance frameworks
- Multi-tasking and coordinating various tasks
- Fostering close collaboration and communication among various stakeholders
What we are looking for
- Education in Education, Training and Development or Organisation Development
- Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) is advantageous
- At least 5 years of training development experience is preferred
- Knowledge of the RSN is advantageous
- Meticulous, proactive and adaptable
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical thinking skills
- Strong time management skills
Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
