The jobholder will assist the Head of Infrastructure Planning and Services in managing daily building matters, providing support and expertise on Building Owner/Estate matters, and undertaking forward infrastructure planning. This is to ensure that ICAB and the former ELD Training Centre continue to operate effectively and efficiently. Responsibilities include fault rectifications, renovation works in compliance with existing space norms, application of season parking, managing the cafeteria, telephone equipment and lines, visitor management framework, proper issuance of building passes, and enforcing robust maintenance regimes for all building assets.
The jobholder will also need to ensure the implementation and adherence to regularly updated guidelines on the Public Service Workplace for facility management practitioners and users. The role includes designing offices at all ICA premises to meet high standards of hygiene and safety, performing contracts management, maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers, and tracking their performance. The jobholder will assist the Head of Infrastructure Planning and Services in operational infrastructure planning and enhancement, identifying key risks, carrying out operational enhancement works, and future-proofing buildings from pandemics and other unconventional threats and risks.
Additionally, Infrastructure Asset Management is the jobholder’s responsibility, which includes maintaining a repository of all updated facilities' as-built drawings, drawings of upgrading works, asset maintenance schedules, and the Authority’s renewal, etc.
