• Postgraduate / Tertiary qualification in any of the following: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or any relevant areas
• Min. 2 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML and/or software engineering, including data preparation.
• Min. 2 years of Python coding experience
• Some working knowledge of AI/ML development, implementation and deployment is preferred
• Familiar with open-source frameworks such as LangChain / LangGraph, and open models such as Llama 4 and GPT OSS.
• Able to develop AI applications and deploy the applications using Docker containers with REST APIs
• Practical experience with Kubernetes is strongly preferred
• Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams multi-disciplinary / multi-agencies teams
• Able to communicate technical concepts and conduct demos in a clear and effective manner to stakeholders of varying technical background
• Knowledge of emerging AI-related technologies and trends
• Self-motivated, team player, creative with excellent communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
• Having domain knowledge in Homeland Security sector will be a bonus
• Applicants with more than 5 years’ relevant experience will be considered for more senior positions
All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
